Back in 2008 my grandad was diagnosed with , and after operations and treatment became a day patient at St Kentigern Hospice in 2009 initially and later in 2010. Attending St Kentigern Hospice my grandad was able to get on the road to recovery, this is thanks to the staff, the care they provide and all the wonderful activities. Not only do they help the person who attends, they provide respite and support for those who normally care for the patient, in this case it was my Nana. So as a family we owe an awful lot to St Kentigern's and the wonderful work that they do.
