Story
I'm running the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society in memory of my Grandma, Margaret Peet. Here's why:
It is well-known that when many memories are hard to retrieve, music is especially easy to recall...every cloud has a silver lining.
Thanks to the Alzheimer's Society, despite what had become rather a cloudy mind, my Grandma was able to enjoy some precious clarity and good fun, singing her wartime favourites with a group of like-minded people at the local Singing for the Brain sessions.
Please donate to help the Alzheimer's Society fight dementia, and to help people like my Grandma, who, like many of her generation, always have a song in their heart.
