We fund sarcoma research and offer support to ensure patients get the care they need.

Story

After being diagnosed with a retroperitaneal liposarcoma in June 2013, Vicky had a laparotomy in July 2013 to remove a melon-sized tumour in her abdomen. Unfortunately it grew back all too quickly, and by Nov 2013 Vicky was told that her average life expectancy would be less than twelve months.

By May 2015 Vicky continued to fight the cancer beyond all expectations and it was then that we started #fightingforvicky campaign to raise awareness for Sarcoma UK as Vicky was very passionate about it.

So far we have raised over £3800 for the charity and will continue to do so in Vicky's memory. In June 2015 Vicky was taken to The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice in Farnham where she took advantage of its wonderful services.

Sadly on July 27th 2015 Vicky passed away peacefully in her sldeep. Vicky fought hard even till the very end. She was a tough girl and a true inspiration and words can not describe how much she will be missed. Sleep well Vic, we all love you and are so very proud of you.

The #Fightingforvicky campaign will continue in Vicky's memory.

TeamFightingforvicky will take part in numerous events to raise money and awareness for Sarcoma UK.
