With our popular annual Sunday Lunch not being possible this year because of the pandemic, in its place we are running a virtual event to raise much needed funds for the NSPCC in these exceedingly difficult and challenging times. We invite you to join us from your home with a drink and some nibbles.
Demand for the services of the NSPCC and Childline have grown exponentially with the pandemic and at the same time many fundraising events that would have raised hundreds of thousands of pounds nationwide have been cancelled.
We are delighted that Michele Baxter, a volunteer Childline Counsellor, has agreed to speak at our event and give us an insight into the work that Childline does with vulnerable and abused children.
In order to join our virtual event we are requesting a minimum donation of £10. However, larger donations will be more than welcome. Please donate by clicking the button above. If you wish to donate a different sum from those suggested, please change the amount showing in the main box accordingly.
Once you have made your donation, in order to ensure you are entered into the prize draw and receive the link to the Zoom speaker event, please send an email with your name and phone number to us at finchleydistrict@gmail.com.
The free prize draw will be conducted on 22 November 2020 and prize winners notified by email or phone within 24 hours.
