I've been working for CLIC Sargent for over a year now and having seen first hand the amazing work they do and how much their support is appreciated by children and young people with cancer and their families, I thought it was time I did a little bit to help out.

Whether it's paying for a social worker, a nurse or a play specialist, a Home from Home where a family can stay together, close to a hospital or a grant to help families with the cost of living with cancer, your donation will help someone from 0 to 24 years old who is living with cancer. Please give generously!

I'll be facing my 'slight nervousness' of heights to scale the ArcelorMittal Orbit at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park at the end of July and in the meantime will be trying very hard to recover from ankle surgery. I'll need all the luck and donations you can give ;) When I get to the top I will be doing a freefall abseil down the structure - no bouncing gently down the sides.
