It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

2018 was an extremely tough year for us all at Finnick Group, after our much loved Managing Director, aged 54, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in early March.

After months of chemo and all the nasty side effects that came with it, in early August Chris was granted the operation he desperately needed, it was now or never, the chemo wasn't making enough of an impact.

On August bank holiday Chris had the long and tough operation, but after a number of post op problems too complex to explain he spent a month in critical care fighting for his life. Operation after operation, bad news after bad news.

On Sunday 23rd September Chris devastatingly passed away surrounded by his close family.

He was a fantastic boss, a great friend and he is truly missed by all at Finnick Group. In his memory, 11 staff from the group plus 2 great friends will be taking on this challenge climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon.

Team Finnick comprises 11 walkers – Matt, Steve, Jake, Jane, Debbie, Caroline, Tegan, Jack, Krzysztof, Grace and Claire, along with two designated drivers – Ryan and Tim.

The challenge is to climb all three peaks in 24 hours!!!

Please donate if you can for this very worthy cause extremely close to our hearts.
