Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Along with members of my team from Govia Thameslink Railway I am walking 25K of the Thames Path Challenge in September raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research.  Your heart is the most important organ in your body, however, several health issues are linked to your heart  that unfortunately result in people losing their life through both heart and circulatory related causes in the UK every day. It is only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures, every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. As a minimum I only have to raise the small sum of £120.00, as does each member of my team 'The Huntingdon Sparkles' (I claim no involvement in the team name created by Dean Cole when I was on leave, enough said!!!), our combined minimum fund raising achievement will be £840 but it would be great if between us our team could achieve at least £1000 in total for the BHF.   Funding assists research into stroke, heart attack, cardiomyopathy, aortic aneurysm, vascular dementia, angina, abnormal hearth rhythm to name just a few conditions that affect the normal function of our heart. We all know the importance of a healthy heart, please can you help me keep the blood flowing through our hearts and assist me in in achieving my fund raising target for this worthy cause.  Thank you folks x
