We are running the Ignis Women’s 10K on May 13th 2012 and we have registered the group on the JustGiving website.

We are appealing for sponsors to help us raise funds for Target Ovarian

We have chosen to run for this charity as unfortunately, two of our Team are still fighting this battle so it is very close to home.....

Ovarian cancer is a silent enemy that can attack any one of any age and usually diagnosed much later than other cancers which often means extremely aggressive treatment and a long fight for the victim of this type of cancer.

More research and funding is required to help with earlier diagnosis and manageable treatment , to make sure that all of those affected receive the support they need to deal with the impact on themselves and their families ..
