We help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services to ensure that our young patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Story

Yorkhill Children's Hospital have played a huge roll in our lives for the past two year following the birth of Ethan and Emily Maurer.

Firstly, Ethan! Ethan has a condition which was first discovered at the age of four month and was diagnoised by Yorkhill at the age of 18 months. We have attended many clinics at Yorkhill and received excellent support from both the Genetics and Neologist Teams.  For those that do not know Ethan he is a very happy, smiley and sociable boy who is making wonderful progress!!

Emily was born on the 20th Oct 2011 and spent 19 weeks from birth in Intensive Care in Yorkhill with Hyperinsulinism which is improving every day.  The team in NICU have been very supportive and she has received excellent treatment from the Metabolic Team.  She is a very bright and content little girl with lots of hair!!

We consider ourselves very lucky to have such special children in our lives!

Please dig deep to help us raise money for this wonderful cause!  We are so lucky to have such a wonderful Childrens Hospital in Scotland!
