Story
I have set up this page in memory of my late wife Hannah, who tragically died in March 2020. She would have been 35 on the 27th February this year. As Hannah can't be here to celebrate her birthday with us, I wanted to fundraise for a charity close to her heart.
If you were lucky enough to have know Hannah, you would have known the giving and caring nature she had and that we all loved. She always wanted to help people, that's what she did best. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.
In the past Hannah had given money to the homeless, gone out of her way to buy food, drinks, clothes and personal items for people on the streets. She even went as far as inviting a couple back to our house for a hot shower and a meal! She donated goods to Crawley Open House, especially at Christmas time.
Hannah always said, if we were ever fortunate enough to win the lottery (wishful thinking!!!), the first thing she would do is set up a homeless shelter and rehab centre to help the less fortunate people back on their feet.
Crawley Open House need our help, now more than ever. They offer excellent and vital help and support for the homeless at the hostel that can home up to 26 people each night. They are the only residential homeless shelter for around 25 miles.
Donating to Crawley Open House will support them by continuing to give remarkable help to those in need.
Thank you for your support.
