On Sunday 3rd May we (Matt,Theo & PJ) will be racing for the first time ever. 1000m on the Silverstone track, in our wheelchairs,  to raise funds for Variety. We've been friends for years and we play wheelchair basketball together.

We're 3 ordinary boys who just happen to use wheelchairs. It's not often we get the freedom to go as fast as we can, parents and teachers get all stressed about 'being careful', but on the 3rd of May we're joining in a race which allows us to race in our wheelchairs. No parents. No teachers. Just get from start to finish as fast as we can. We have promised to not knock anyone over.

Amongst other things Variety buy fantastic, user-friendly, wheelchairs for children like us. They do lots of other amazing stuff too but they need lots of money to help everyone.  They bought the wheelchair PJ is using just now. It cost over £2000 and will probably last him for 2 years before he grows out of it.

We'd love to raise as much as we can for Variety so please sponsor us and we'll take lots of pictures and let you know how the race went.
