Mum wanted to leave her body to medical science / students. Unfortunately, this was not possible. We have therefore chosen to donate to the Francis Crick Institute because of its educational work and its medical research and innovation (including relating to cancer). We feel that mum would have approved of this. The building is in a part of London which we and mum’s grandchildren pass fairly regularly and, when we do, we will fondly think of mum.
