Story

Zakat Al-Fitr (also called Fitrah or Fitranah) refers to the charity given at the end of Ramadan prior to Eid Salah.

The rate per member of the household is £5 per person and this needs to be given on behalf of all members of the household (including young or newborn children).

Zakat Al-Fitr is spent on the poor and needy who are eligible for Zakat.
