Story
When my brother Paul - "Murt" passed in 2010, I discovered the South West Coast Path; it was always on my doorstep but walking was never my thing.
I don't know why grief led me there, but I walked many miles over many months, and the North Cornwall coastline had a profound impact on me.
The Great South West Walk is raising funds for the 40th anniversary of South West Coast Path Association. The Bude to Crackington stretch falls on Paul's birthday the 26th April, so I thought I had best get walking - it's 11 pretty tough miles as very up and down! I think it's essential to preserve safe access for everyone to freely walk these paths along our beautiful and inspiring coastline.
I will also be walking Tintagel to Trebarwith on Sunday 28th April.
