Sadly a year ago in July 2011 a friend Georgia passed away due to Meningitus, I am trying to not only raise money for this charity but raise awareness too.

Meningitis B is a relatively unknown and potent bacterial infection which can be lethal within a short amount of time. The deceptive nature of the illness is that it only causes flu like symptoms until a rash appears, by which time it is usually too late.

On the 9th July 2012 I will be shark cage diving, having never dived before, with great white sharks. It will have been exactly a year since her death and her 18th birthday so i have chosen to do it then in memory of her.
