Tristan and I have signed up to the Bath Half marathon. With training underway I am determined (although unlikely) to beat Vanessa's time for the Cardiff Half...some healthy sisterly competition :-). So, any donation from you would spur us on just nicely with our (more painful than words can say) training!!!

Now a little about the chosen charity...

READ is an almost entirely student-volunteer-led initiative comprising of regional university based READ Book Projects which collect, sort and ship disused educational resources from the UK to Tanzania (350,000 books to date). READ student volunteers also give school presentations in the UK to promote student volunteering, young social enterprise and global citizenship.

READ at Birmingham University, and therefore close to my heart, are currently fund-raising for a shipment of books to Africa this summer. They need to collect £10,000 to make this possible so any amount to help would be greatly appreciated!!
