Story

*UPDATE* With the 3 challenges completed, I am now preparing my self for the biggest and most important part of my adventure: Setting off for Kanchenjunga, Nepal. I am currently gaining more experience as a teacher in a school in London so that I can be as helpful as I can be in helping the schools in Nepal. I will also be teaching my self some basic Nepali through out the year, and of course organising the logistics of it all!!

*UPDATE* Next step is the 3 peaks! I will be attempting this challenge with Laura, Mollie and our dedicated driver, Ollie. Our plan is to start with Ben Nevis early afternoon on the 7th of June, and aim to complete the 3 peaks within 24 hours.

Hey, I would like to start by saying thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

This year I am taking on 3 challenges in order to raise money to go towards a school development programme in the remote areas of the Himalayan Mountains in Nepal. First, I will be running the Bath Half on the 2nd of March. Second, I will be doing the 3 peak challenge, which involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. And finally, I will be cycling from Bath to Bayonne (656miles). All of these events will be done wearing a SUPERWOMAN outfit.

I have chosen to fundraise for the Himalayan trust, as it is an incredible charity, providing education opportunities to the most remote areas of Nepal as well as support to the families living in the Kanchenjunga districts. I'm also hoping to go out to Nepal from January to May 2015 in order to help out with the school development programme in Kanchenjunga. But in the mean time, I would like to take the opportunity to help in any way that I can, and hopefully I will later be able to help first hand.

To keep all of my supporters up to date with my endeavours I will be starting a blog so please take a look when ever you like to find out how I am doing. Blog: http://florrienepal.blogspot.co.uk/

Any money that you donate will be much appreciated, and every bit of it will go straight to the charity to help the basic needs and education of the people in Nepal.

Thanks for all of your support,

Florrie
