What is The Great Hythe Raft Race?

The Great Hythe Raft Race July 6th is a local charity event which has been organised to raise money for much needed equipment for the Padua Children's Ward at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.Come along and watch 30 teams of local people race down the canal in fancy dress!

An afternoon of fun and entertainment for all the family on the Royal Military Canal in the centre of Hythe. There will be entertainment on the Canal stage with acts such as: 3 x Local School Choirs, Local Drama Groups, A Michael Buble Tribute Singer, A Beatles Tribute Band and a Rolling Stones Cover Band! There will be various food and drink stalls and Bouncy Castles, Inflatable Bungee Runs and much more!
