Foot Anstey and Enable Law are entering a team for this year's Headway Somerset Charity Dragon Boat Race. This will be our sixth year in a row with varying success and no one in the river... yet!

Headway Somerset is an independent charity who provide social and cognitive rehabilitation for adults with brain injury and support and respite for their families through their three Brain Injury Rehabilitation centres based in Bridwater, Henton and Yeovil.

The charity take referrals for anyone over the age of 16 and provide a range of individually tailored programmes designed to maximise their quality of life, independence and self esteem. They also work closely with family members who are often the main carers, which can be very stressful and can lead to family breakdown due to the issues related to living with brain injury.

So where will your money go?

£10 - buys just over an hour of rehabilitation time.

£20 - funds a client to attend one of our brain injury centres for a half day including lunch.

£50 - funds a carer and relative group for newly diagnosed patients.

£100 - will pay for 4 weeks of the assessment programme or 4 hours client intensive therapy.
