Football Action's One Day Relay (winter edition!) · 26 February 2021

Football Action uses football to inspire children and encourage education in developing countries. We run projects in Ethiopia, Honduras, Guatemala and Kenya.

Story

Football Action's One Day Relay is back! Following the success of last year's challenge, we're bringing our global relay back for a winter edition.

The idea is simple, a 24 hour relay with 24 people running an hour-long leg. The virtual baton will be passed from person to person as it travels around the world. Last time we had 50 runners in 11 countries taking part.

You don't need to be an avid runner - you can jog, sprint, or walk a bit. And don't forget to take a baton with you!

The money you raise will help us continue providing sports facilities and coaching to children in East Africa and Central America - giving them a chance to learn new skills, build confidence and experience the joy of sport.

When? Friday 26 February at 5pm GMT, finishing Saturday evening, 24 hours later.

How? Donate £20 for a daytime slot (anytime before 7pm or after 7am) or £10 for a nighttime one. Let us know if you have a preferred slot and we'll try and accommodate your request.

We'll be asking everyone who takes part to take a short video of themselves as they pass on the baton, which we'll stitch together into one giant montage.

See you on the start line! #FootballActionRelay
