There has been a lot of focus recently on mental health and awareness is growing (see the links below). The aim is to encourage people to open up about mental health issues and also for workplaces and businesses to change their approach and attitudes for the benefit of all.

Young and middle aged adults, particularly men, are known to be less likely to seek help early enough. Failure to talk through problems and issues can increase the risk of developing more serious conditions. 

Buckinghamshire Mind do a lot of great work supporting people with all types of mental heath to improve their circumstances and outlook.
