Earlier this year, our Mom, Chris Godfrey, had cause to spend a few weeks at St Julia's Hospice in Hayle and, although Mom didn't usually like being away from her home, the care she received at St Julia's was incredible. She was treated with respect and with dignity, with compassion and with caring. The care extended to all of us too, to the family and friends who visited and called.

As a result of the experience and individual care provided by the wonderful team at St Julia's, Mom was able to return home for the final few months of her life.

Mom died peacefully on Monday 16th October at home with her family at her side and surrounded by love. 

Her funeral will be on Monday 30th October at 11AM at Treswithian Downs Crematorium, Camborne. 

Mom has requested that there should be family flowers only but if anyone wanted to make a charitable donation in her memory, this should be to St Julia's Hospice. She may have only spent a short time there but they made a huge impression!
