17 babies die each day in the UK, the tragic victims of stillbirth or neonatal death.

My daughter was one of these.

A team of four, including myself are taking part in the Stoke 10k run to raise funds for the Forget-Me-Not suite at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, which offers special facilities for those families, like mine, whose babies are born asleep or experience loss in their pregnancy.

Through donations, the suite is able to provide families with the time and facilities needed to create precious, lasting memories with their babies in an environment where they are supported along each step until they feel strong enough to return home.
