Story

Thank you so much for all the messages, cards and phone calls it has truly meant a lot at this sad time.  We are currently finalising arrangements at the moment but have to work within the restrictions.

This means that our beloved mom will have a heartfelt personalised cremation on the 7th May 2020.  This date is very special to us all as it would have been our nan’s 100th birthday.  Through mom and nan’s relationship we learnt first hand of that truly unique bond that lasts a lifetime. We are taking great comfort that nan will be looking over us on the day.

We have had lots of people asking about flowers or donations.  Throughout mom’s life she received the very best of care from the QE Hospital seeing many consultants and specialists.  We would like to mention: Professor Simon Bowman and his team, Professor Williams and his team especially Jackie mom’s botox nurse and special thanks to the wonderful staff on QE wards 514 & 518 especially the nurse that gave mom a phone charger and Katie who was wonderful to the end. So in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the QE in mom’s memory.

Once the restrictions are lifted we are hoping to have a Memorial Celebration of Life Service at Yardley Wood Christ Church where mom and dad were married some 51 years ago.

When mom spent time with her granddaughters  Hannah and Charlotte this bought such warm to her heart and a twinkle in her eyes. So at mom’s memorial we are planning to have a ‘Memory Jar’ where we hope you will share your favourite memories with mom so that the girls can treasure these forever.

All our love

Tony, Sarah, Kirsty, Luke, Kim, Hannah and Lottie xxxx
