Story
I have been busy making Forget-Me-Not flowers to make you smile. The forget-me-not flower is a symbol for Alzheimer's because it represents remembrance, fitting for a disease that involves memory loss. Alzheimer's charities use it to raise awareness, support affected individuals and their caregivers, and raise funds. People wear forget-me-not pins or use the flower as a tribute to loved ones affected by dementia.
I work very closely with individual with dementia, I also had the honour of helping to look after my nan while she lived with dementia. She past in December 2019 and will always have a special place in my heart.
I am giving away Forget-Me-Not Flower to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Society.
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
I have decided to give away Forget-Me-Not to help raise awareness for dementia and to help support Dementia Action Week is an awareness raising campaign. Each year, they work with individuals and organisations across the UK to encourage people to ‘act on dementia’.
