Story

Welcome to the Forterra Mont Ventoux Challenge sponsorship page.

Forterra PLC has entered two four rider relay teams into the Challenge Adventure Charities 2019 cycle challenge. The riders will set out from Ouistreham in France on Wednesday 2nd October and finish in Vaison-la-Romaine at the base of the infamous Mont Ventoux Tour de France climb on Friday 4th October. The event covers a total distance of 620 miles. To further add to the challenge on Saturday 5th October, all riders will be attempting the 18 mile climb to the summit of Mont Ventoux at 1900m. Some of our team members are already suggesting that they will be going for a second ascent on one of the other routes!!

Team 1 consists of Stephen Harrison, Neil McLafferty, Nick Hasell and Tim Darling.

Team 2 consists of Ian Holmes, Nick Clark, Marc Taylor and Jason Drinkwater.

Donations will be split between The British Heart Foundation (75%) and Cancer Research UK (25%). The charities have been selected after the untimely loss of two of our colleagues earlier this year. Most of us have been directly or indirectly affected by the work of these worthy causes and would therefore ask for your support in our fundraising efforts. The company has generously agreed to charity match our fundraising up to £500 per team member.

To further increase the benefit to the charities please complete the Gift Aid section with your donation.

100% of your donation will reach the charities as the event costs are being met by the company and the team members.

Many thanks for your support.
