Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are a group of friends and friends of friends who train and socialise and eat breakfast together and share a common musical preference, predominantly in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire. One of our number Goose had a hair brained idea that we should undertake a challenge in 2015 which raised some funds for charity.
After painstaking research Goose suggested we try the 3 Peaks Challenge in aid of Clic Sargent a charity we all support. We said yes and we have now registered our event and set the date for 15th August 2015.
What is it? We simply have to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mount Snowdon (The highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales respectively) and travel in between them all within 24 hours. Simple as that. We wish.....
We believe this is quite a challenge for our group which is mixed in ability and experience.... Alan(LK) Lyon, Allan(Razer) Rae, Fergus (Goose) Muat,, Darren(D1) Cochrane, Stuart (Swannie) Swan, Claire (Pottymouth) Herriot and Darren (D2 Speedy) Milne and Emma Shearer (Daughter of Darth Shearer). The key will be teamwork getting us through the task. We will be ably assisted by more senior/injured friends Bruce (nae ankles) Stewart, Kevin "Woody" Jones and Robert (silver surfer) Maddock who have volunteered to drive the bus and cook etc...
We would be really really grateful if you could consider sponsoring us to complete this challenge... we will make it......
We have organised and funded this event ourselves so every penny you donate will go to the Charity. Thanks for your support.
