Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last year we entered our first Crumball Rally (Mission Impossible to Prague) and won! During our arduous trek in an old BMW tourer we raised money for Royal Cornwall Hospital Colorectal cancer fund and killed several zombies.
This year's theme is "The Italian Job". Thinking laterally and being a petrol head meant of course that we had to race a Ferrari (Sorry Lewis H). One donated 2002 Skoda Fabia Estate (courtesy of Melanie Feldman) and six days later we had a Fabari!
Earlier this year the Fabari had its shakedown travelling 600 miles in 48hrs around the colorectal units in the Southwest. It was joined by other automotive exotica (Aston Martins, Porsche, Ferrari,Mclaren) but in true Lidder style the Fabari arrived at the final hospital first (clearly the driver makes the difference).
Now we are embarking on our European challenge once more. We are leaving Truro Wednesday after work and heading for the continent (well Canterbury Travellodge).
Thereafter the fun i mean fundraising begins.
Day 1 -Friday morning we rendezvous with fellow Crumballers in Reims. Travelling through the Champagne region our destination is Besancon.
Day 2 -Departing Besancon we head south to Switzerland around Lake Geneva towards Montreaux and over the San Bernadino pass into Italy and our checkpoint in Turin (dressed up as mafia!)
Day 3- Starting from Piazza San Carlo we make our getaway. Our route will take us to Monte Carlo and assuming our Fabari has made it this far a lap around the circuit of Monaco must be on the cards before heading to Nice!
Once more we would be grateful for any donations or likes/shares on facebook/twitter and will regularly post photos and updates on social media.
