Abseil down Brighton's i360 · 17 August 2019

The Clock Tower Sanctuary is the only day centre service for young people experiencing homelessness in Brighton and Hove. We offer practical support as well as information, advice and guidance to provide our young people with the safe, supportive space they need to shape their futures.

Story

I am absolutely terrified of heights. Like, terrified. But, in spite of that, I will be testing myself to my absolute limits and throwing myself down the world's tallest moving observation platform; all 162m of Brighton's i360 (fully supervised, of course, and with ropes) to help raise much needed funds for one of the city's incredible charities- The Clock Tower Sanctuary.

The Clock Tower Sanctuary is the only drop-in service providing all-round information, advice and support to homeless young people (aged 16-25) in Brighton & Hove. The charity works with homeless young people to help prevent further decline, unlock their potential and get their lives back on track. Just £10 can pay for a young person to have a shower, wash their clothes, have a hot meal and talk to one of their specially trained volunteers.

There's no doubt that I will be an absolute mess and scared s**tless but that will be nothing compared to the fear and uncertainty young homeless people face on the streets, everyday. I just hope I do them justice.

Thank you for helping homeless young people in Brighton & Hove have a chance for a brighter future.
