Story
Hey - thanks for taking the time to visit my Fundraising page!
So, this is Round 2 - back in July 2018 I fought with UWCB, drew with my opponent and raised £250 (which I was really proud of, and will be forever thankful to everyone that supported me in my first rodeo at fundraising!).
I learnt a lot in my crash course in boxing, but I also found a new passion. I've gone on to train since (after recovering from a nasty shoulder injury) and I'm putting in 110% to step into the ring with UWCB in April 2019. I'll be having a warm up fight in March 2019, working with some great coaches in Cowplain & at Portsmouth Naval Base to get me ready, and of course, training with an awesome group of people at Phoenix Gym in Gosport. I AM SO EXCITED.
I would be beyond grateful if you can spare any money at all to support my fundraising for Cancer research. On my last fundraising page, I noted that most of the women in my family have had breast cancer - all of my aunties, in fact. It's a well known fact that 1 in 2 people are likely to get Cancer of some sort during their lifetime, and I guarantee that if you're reading this, you're thinking about someone that you know who has been affected by this horrible disease. Every pound raised, every fight fought, contributes towards creating cures for the different types of cancer, and I hope that in some way, we together can know that we've played our part in fighting this disease, and supporting those who have and continue to fight the disease.
To those who donated before, please know that I am sincerely thankful. To those who bought tickets to watch me fight last time, I was so so grateful to have you screaming my name with every punch that I landed (and dodged!). Please, if you can or would like to come again for another great night, then it'll make me feel ten feet tall walking into the ring knowing that you're all behind me.
If you can support my training in any way at all, through 1-1 sessions that I continue to have or providing ad hoc pad/sparring sessions, please get in touch with me privately ❤
Thank you all in advance and, wish me luck!! xxx
