We are taking part in the Swindon Half marathon this year for Kidney Research UK. I'm sure many of you will know, my mum had a kidney transplant over five years ago. Without the work that Kidney Research UK do my mum could have been on dialysis a lot longer than she was. 

Kidney disease is a silent killer. There are three million people in the UK with it right now and there is no cure.

Kidney Research UK are the leading charity committed to developing treatments, patient information and raising vital public awareness to help save lives. 

We appreciate and gift, big or small, anything to help us on our way. Neither of us have ran anywhere near this distance before (Taylor comes a lot closer than I do!!). 

By setting up this page I feel that it might give us more motivation to start training and make it feel real....
