The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we’re moving further and faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. A cure really can’t wait

Story

In 2015 I was diagnosed with a brain tumour.  I was one of the rare and fortunate ones with few symptoms and with surgery I would have the opportunity of a full life.  My tumour was however growing and I had to undergo surgery to save my life in August 2016.  I realise now how little there is going to research in this area and how devastating this condition can be.  We have done much to support many more well known charities  over the years, but just the word Brain Tumour fills us all with sadness and despair  and therefore this area of research is not given as much resource.  I hope that my walk will help someone else have a positive out come too.  I chose this charity as this had many leaflets and information forums for me to reach too as each and every case of this condition is different.

I now have a full life prognosis and I hope more can be the same.

Thank you for visiting my page.

The Brain Tumour Charity is at the forefront of the fight to defeat brain tumours, making a difference every day to the lives of people with a brain tumour and their families. We fund pioneering research to increase survival, raise awareness of the symptoms and effects of brain tumours and provide support for everyone affected to improve quality of life. We are committed to having the biggest possible impact for every person affected by a brain tumour, and to defending the most amazing part of the human body.
