I am raising funds for an important need in providing emergency care to stroke victims in Nazareth and the surrounding areas where there is currently no stroke unit. This means that people who have had a stroke need to be taken to hospitals in Afula or Haifa which adds another 40-60 minutes to their journey. As time is of the essence in treating stroke and heart victims, it is important that they receive treatment as soon as possible and the funds raised from this walk will go towards a new CT scanner for the Nazareth Hospital stroke unit.
