I am running the Brighton Half Marathon this year on Sunday 26th February for the beautiful charity the Venkat Trust.

The Venkat Trust is a fantastic charity in India, through which I sponsor the two beautiful children on my picture and pay for their education. This run and the collective monies raised from all 60 runners, will go towards sports equipment, solar heating panels, emergency medical costs, support for the secondary school, a cricket coach for a girls cricket team. As well as more support overall for the schooling of these gorgeous children. 

If anything is going to get me round that 13 miles, it will be knowing we can help them have a fantastic education and a better life.   Some of the students who've benefited from the work of the Venkat Trust have gone on to get their PHDs and become doctors and surgeons, it's a truly worthwhile cause.

I know it's a tough time for everyone financially, so whatever you're able to spare would be so so greatly appreciated.
