Frankie and Benny's has chosen to support Macmillan this year by doing various fund-raising events across the country. This is a charity, which i am sure you will agree, does a fantastic amount of work to help, support and care for those  affected by Cancer. Every single one of us will be affected by this life-threatening disease at some poinnt in our lives. Whether it is through our own mis-fortune of coming into contact ourselves with the disease or through a loss of a  friend or relative, we will never escape the word we all come to dread 'Cancer'.

Over 50 Frankie and Benny's Restaurants have all been set a target to raise £1000 before the end of the year...but if we can beat that then even better.............!!!!!!

 

So thats, 1 Operations Manager, 7 Area Managers, 3 Area Support Managers, 3 Area Chefs, over 150 branch managers and in excess of 1000 employees all fund-raising for Macmillan!

What are we doing then to raise money??

3 Mad Women, Helen Martin, Sarah Thornton and Sarah Adams have all jumped out of an aeroplane at 13,000ft!

Charity Theme Weekends have been a regular event in all our restaurants!!

Raffles, Colouring Competitions and Fancy Dress are also among many other ways in which we have continued to raise money.

And finally......a group of 14 Senior managers are walking (or should I say crawling) 50 miles across the south downs in August. We are starting at the base of Beachy Head and then spending the next 48 hours attempting to reach our final destination somewhere way way in the distance that only seems possible at the moment if we sprout some wings and fly!!! Dave Salmon, Kevin Moulding, Scott Cheeseman, Dave Mcredie, Ian Allsop, Kirstie Gossage, Helen Martin, Ricardo Glen, Henrique Da Silva, Simon McAssey and myself, Charlotte Knight, are the team hoping to raise £5000 for this event. Friends and family please support us and sponsor us as much as you can.
