Fraser Glen is raising money for Strathcarron Hospice
In memory of Linda Glen
We provide specialist palliative care to patients across Forth Valley, Cumbernauld & Kilsyth in the Hospice and in patients' own homes. We need to raise £19,452 every day and with your support we can help our patients to live well right up until the end of their life and make every moment count.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In the early hours of Friday, 13th November, my beautiful, loving and caring Mother, Linda Glen, passed away at the age of just 57.

As many will know, Mum had been battling cancer since March. Following successful surgery in May in London, we had hoped for a full recovery. With great sadness this was not to be.

Mum was cared for at Strathcarron Hospice in September and October, before returning home in late October, to be with family. At home, Strathcarron Hospice continued to provide love, support and care through the amazing Hospice at Home nursing staff.

Her short, but brave fight against cancer is now over, and Mum left this world, at home, pain-free, surrounded by family, just as she had wanted.

In Linda’s memory, the family would like to ask you to make a donation to Strathcarron Hospice to allow them to continue their amazing work.

With love,

Fraser
