Beth's going bald for Cancer · 1 February 2014

The Christie charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. Your support can help us to fund life-changing and potentially life-saving projects that will benefit cancer patients both now and in the future.

Story

My 17 year old sister Holly was diagnosed just before Christmas 2013 with a rare muscle tumour. The care she has had at the Young Oncology Unit at Christie's Hospital has been brilliant, and I would like to raise money to help the staff at the Christie Hospital carry on delivering outstanding care to patients of all ages with cancer.

I have had long hair all my life, but on 1st February 2014, I had it all cut off and shaved my head. I am donating my hair to The Little Princess Trust (who provide real hair wigs for children suffering hair loss www.littleprincesses.org.uk).

I have already raised £125 from friends and family, but would like to raise more if possible. Any donation however small will be appreciated.
