Physically apart, but in this together.

A year after summiting Mt Kilimanjaro together, this year we - Freddie and Dave - are swapping the Mountain for The Garden Route as we aim to each complete a marathon in our back gardens.

We are raising money for Epsom and St Helier Hospitals Charity which is very close to our hearts: two members of our family were born in St Helier Hospital, which is right next to the Carshalton Boys Sports College where Freddie used to teach. The hospital is under immense pressure at the moment, with the number of Covid-19 related deaths currently at 192. We want to raise as much money as possible to support the hospital through this crisis. 

We hope that the idea of us doing ~2000 laps of our respective gardens will inspire people to donate! Also, since Dave was meant to be doing the Brighton Marathon on Sunday, at least all his training won't be going to waste. Meanwhile, we have always wanted to dress up for a marathon, so now's our chance!
