Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

I've been meaning to say this for a while everyone, thank you all so much!

Many of you will have known Sussie, and I hope you remember her fondly.
Though she lead a healthy lifestyle, always keeping active, she had a history of heart problems and passed away on the 3rd of August 2013, a sad reminder of how previlent and destructive heart disease still is within our society.

The British Heart Foundation is a charity dedicated to doing research into the casues of, and new treatments for, heart disease as well as providing life saving first aid training. They have already helped saved thousands of lives and continue to do amazing work.

Last Spring I ran the Bupa 10,000 and raised an incredible amount, once again a massive thank you to everyone who donated then.
This Spring I plan to go a step (or several thousand steps) further. Between the 8th of May and the 30th of August I will be hiking between Malmo and Kiruna, the most southerly and northerly cities in Sweden, a journey of approximately 1500 miles.
It's a long walk, but it should be fun and if I can raise some money along the way that'll make it all the better.

Again, thank you to everyone who donated last year, it was greatly appreciated. But, if you can find a way to donate again, even just a few pounds, this time round I'm sure we can raise even more.
