Story

Fran's Story:

At school the only thing I was worse at than spelling was running. So deciding to run the London Marathon to raise awareness for the condition seemed like a sensible decision - at the time!

Given that I haven't completed a half marathon yet then some might question my logic and I'd agree. So I decided to rope Dewi into help me complete the challenge!

We've chosen to raise money for the British Dyslexic Association (BDA). Dyslexia impacts 10% of the population. It is an incurable condition. The BDA aims to promote a dyslexic friendly society enabling children and adults to reach their full potential. They work with schools, in the criminal justice system and in the workplace.

So please help us help others with the condition. Who knows, your support might enable the next Albert Einstein (who was also dyslexic) to reach their potential!

Thanks so much for your support. It means so much to both of us. It is going to be the only thing getting us out of bed on those cold, wet winter months!

Dewi's Story:

I have always been incredibly proud whilst supporting my friends and family with efforts to raise money for charity - and now it's time for me to chip in. With your support, I'd love to do so at the London Marathon 2018.

Thank you for your support - every pound goes to a good cause and will help motivate me on my journey.

Also, don't you think it's time we had a Welsh winner? Bring it on Mo!
