Freya gets the chop!

Gemma Walmsley is raising money for The Sophie Lancaster Foundation

Freya gets the chop! · 24 September 2022

Following the horrific murder of Sophie Lancaster, her family wanted to ensure a lasting legacy to their beautiful, bright creative daughter and so The Sophie Lancaster Foundation was established and it became a registered charity in 2009. We do this through various means including education.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After attending Bloodstock festival this year the name Sophie Lancaster was brought to Freyas attention. We took her to the Sophie Lancaster foundation stall and explained who she was why she was important, Freya wanted a t-shirt and has spoken about her alot since reading about what happened.
This year marks 15 years since Sophie was killed and Freya wanted to do something positive to help.
Freyas had a tough year of her own and wants to make a difference by raising money and awareness for the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.
She will be doing this by getting her hair cut short! (anyone who knows Freya know this is a HUGE deal) and has also been a part of Freyas struggles this year with her mental health.
So please if you can donate any amount to help Freya reach her target 🖤
