Love Has No Border: A 10,000 Masks Drive to protect 10,000 New Yorkers

Story
Dear Friends,
Friends for Impact, a New York State registered 501(c)3 organization, salute all Essential Workers & Volunteers in New York City, who continue to put themselves in the frontlines of this COVID-19 pandemic.
We start this Initiative LOVE HAS NO BORDER: 10,000 Masks Drive to assist Essential Workers & Volunteers so they can protect themselves when they are out to serve others. We will also donate masks to the Underserved communities.
As a background, we have provided the first 1,000 Reusable Masks to staff and volunteers at Citymeals on Wheels www.citymeals.org. The donation was made by one of our Corporate donors and a group of NYC private donors.
For the second 1,000 Reusable Masks, another Corporate donor pledged donation and we plan to distribute the masks to WIN www.winnyc.org to help the underserved. However, these masks have been held at China port awaiting approval to export.
Therefore, we decided to source Masks from other countries outside of China, and created this Intiative of 10,000 Masks Drive - LOVE HAS NO BORDER.
