The Friends of Newfold would love to raise funds to purchase an ‘all-weather’ track around the perimeter of the school field after meeting with Newfold’s School Councillors and Sports Council.

The children and staff envisage using the track for a multitude of activities, such as well-being walks, resilience runs and for the teaching of the P.E. curriculum, whilst inviting members of the community to access it too.

Daily exercise and time spent outdoors play a vital role in contributing to the mental health and well-being of children. We can therefore see huge benefits of having such an amazing and versatile resource for our children.
