Funding Circle Just Giving is raising money for Mind
In memory of Shanice Allan
Story
On the last weekend of February, the Funding Circle Collections department are going to be covering over 1,100km between them - the equivalent of getting from London to Barcelona or Venice!
We will be fundraising for the charity Mind, who are a fantastic charity that do really important work on providing support and services for those suffering with mental health issues, as well as campaigning and raising awareness. You can read more about what they do here:

Supporting mental health is something that is close to many of our hearts. The past 12 months have really taken their toll on many people and we as a country are going to be feeling these effects for years to come. According to the Office for National Statistics, rates of depression in adults have doubled during the pandemic to one in five people and as many as one in six children are now also suffering from anxiety, depression and loneliness.
We are doing this challenge to support all those who suffer with mental health, and specifically in memory of Shanice Allan - our teammate Dean's daughter. You can visit her tribute page here:

So far we have over 50 people committing to cycle, walk or run to hit the 1,110km we have targeted ourselves.
Many are challenging themselves to set new PB's or to push for distances they haven't done before.
