Time for another challenge and a very different one. I haven't walked in nearly a year on my prosthetic leg and having to be on crutches full time has been a real eye opener to just how hard it can be. Not being able to carry a cup of tea is the main challenge. 

So I thought time for a challenge which doesn't involve my favourite hobby of cycling. So I am going to be walking on crutches and this will be such a challenge because I have recently had 2 operations which has disrupted my training to get strong enough in time. 

Limbpower needs funds to continue to the important work we do for amputees to become fit and healthy. There is so much we can do, with or without our limbs and showing this is a real passion of mine. Having felt fed up that my leg wouldn't work anymore I really enjoyed learning all the things I can achieve on 1 leg and this will be a new avenue for me. 

There will be a few amputees doing this challenge and we will be celebrating (hopefully) the achievements of amputees who want to still live life to the full after limbloss.
