As a child I lost my father to cancer, but I am not the only one, so sadly my story is in no way unique.
The truth is that there are millions like me who may not have lost a father, but someone else just as close from grandparent, to child when you think about how many people we care about.
I am raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support who help those going through what is widely considered, the toughest fight one will ever face.
I know all too well that you don't have to be diagnosed with cancer to be affected by it.
To raise money for this, on 2nd May 2015 I will be taking part in a 12 mile muddy marathon where I (along with some merry cohorts) will climb, crawl, run, jump, be electrocuted (twice) and undoubtedly fall (more than once) and be submerged in dumpster full of ice water in order to spur on donations.
Please give whatever you can. Like last time, those who do donate, can have their name written on any part of my body and I will carry your name through the course with me.
Thank you for reading this, for your donations and most of all, your support.
