Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I work for a communications company called Avanti. Our company supports SOS by doing a variety of things such as donating to SOS through Payroll giving as well as things like Cake Stalls and supplying their remote villages in Eastern Europe and Africa with free internet.
But this year in the first week of July we decided to do something that seems completely crazy! A Group of about 20 employee and Friends of Avanti are planning to cycle from our Ground Earth Station in Goonhilly Cornwall to our HQ in London. This is about / and we aim to do this in 24 hours!
Some of us are avid cyclists, some are keen green commuters and some are novices but together we will do this!
The event take place in the form of 8x stages where teams will aim to complete all 8 stages colletively as a team or some will try and do the whole 8 stages solo.
I hope to complete all 8 stages myself in 24 hours, which I think is achievable if I practice hard enough and am well equipped.
No comes your part, please donate as much as you can! Perhaps you can donate according to the number of stages you think I can actually complete or how many miles/kilometres you think I can do.
I have put a target of £500 as I think I think this is achieveable for 1 person as well as £0.20 per km seems like a good number for each person to donate.
Plus JustGiving means that I can reach all of my friends and family from all corners of the world. Charity doesn't discriminate against accepting Euros, US/Australian Dollars or Indian Rupees :-)
