Global Flight Simulator Challenge · 5 October 2012 to 19 October 2012 ·
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. I've been involved with Aerobility since 2008. They do great work teaching disabled people to fly. I have been so inspired by some of the disabled pilots I have met. Aerobility needs £100,000 to buy and run a flight simulator, which will enable them to provide realistic ground-based training for disabled pilots.
To raise the cash, in October I will join a team of pilots, including Apollo astronaut Buzz Aldrin, in an attempt to fly around the world in a flight simulator and set a new Guinness world record for the longest duration simulator flight. My co-pilot is Karen Usher, a colleague from the VocaLink Flying Club who is also a glider pilot.
Please would you donate now and help me reach Aerobility's £100,000 target? My employer, VocaLink, has generously offered to match pound-for-pound the first £350 donated, so every pound you donate is actually worth £2.
