Thank you for taking the time to check out this page. I am running the 2020 London Marathon for the Ellenor Hospice, where my amazing Sister in-law Debra Barden received the most amazing care. The Hospice provided great support to Deb, my Brother and my Niece and Nephew. My eyes have been opened to the special work they do and I want to help give them some support back.
When you're losing a loved one you try to make a concentrated effort to stay purely in the moment as looking back or forwards is too much to bear. During this time we need a special kind of support, one that comes in many forms. We need space, understanding, advice and information, we need help to process all the noise in our heads and sometimes we need a friendly voice just to fill the silence. Sometimes we just want to be left alone...
The incredible staff at the Ellenor Hospice continue to give this support to my family and many others every single day. They work tirelessly to provide a service of care that feels more like the love of a family than a medical practice. They have gone above and beyond to help my Brother, Deb and the kids to make some special memories during this most difficult of times. The Hospice puts it's arms around those that are suffering and provides a haven of love and care, its a place full of special people who dedicate their time to help others during their hardest of times. But in order for this amazing organisation to keep giving the support they do, they need our support, they need your support.
The Ellenor Hospice relies solely on charitable donations to keep its doors open. Every donation no matter how small will go towards the continued running of this special place, whose support is so vital to the community. Please give anything you can. Ill be training come rain or shine with my amazing Sister, Brother, Niece and Nephew and the whole Ellenor Hospice family in my heart every step of the way. Please support me in making as much money as i can for the Hospice, no donation is too small, its all about coming together and mustering what we can. Thank you soooo much for reading this and thank you for your support! ❤️❤️❤️
⭐⭐Deb has always had a saying for people to remember her name - Debra like Zebra 😁 so if we can get donations over £1500 I'll run the marathon dressed as a Zebra! 😁 ⭐⭐
