"Girls are getting experiences outdoors and pushing their limits- they aren't getting that at home."

Girl Scout camp provides amazing opportunities for girls to not only develop and grow a love for the great outdoors but also to build courage and confidence all while meeting new friends! There are numerous studies about the benefits of camp, but our volunteers say it best:

"Resident camping is important to a lot of girls- they have never experienced it and the need is there. They will be able to learn life skills and make lasting connections."

As with everything we do, Girl Scouts - NCCP strives to keep activity costs accessible for all girls. To do that, we need help from donors like you.

The average family is asked to pay $325 to send a girl to camp, but it costs Girl Scouts - NCCP $780 to provide her camp experience. The total cost to send two girls to camp next summer-from the fun camp staff, to the delicious food, to the supplies for their activities, is $1,560.
